To an individual believer

My dear Mrs. ...,
I am directed by Shoghi Effendi to thank you for your letter of September 17th which he was very glad to receive.
He was much interested and touched with your spiritual yearnings and the way in which the Master’s spirit had filled your heart and satisfied it. It shows well your sincerity and eagerness to become a worthy channel for His grace and a worker in His Cause.
Shoghi Effendi appreciates deeply your wish to co-operate with him in serving the progress of the Bahá’í Faith and he welcomes you as a valued sister and fellow-worker.
He is always glad to hear from you and awaits your good news of progress in Edmonton. He trusts that some day you will be able to come to Haifa where you would be gladly welcomed.
